Kutlu Karavelioğlu

Kutlu Karavelioğlu was born in Ankara in 1961. He was graduate of TED Ankara College and Middle East Technical University (METU) Department of Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor's degree 1984, Master's degree 1987). During his Master's studies in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) (1984-1987), he worked at the TEK Power Plants Project and Facilities Department, participating in the planning, design, and investment phases of thermal power plants.

He completed his military service (1987-1988) as a Second Lieutenant in the Technical Department of the Naval Forces Command, responsible for training maintenance and repair technicians at the bases.

Kutlu Karavelioğlu is a Member of the Board of Directors of Bowler Inc. and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Samsun Makina Sanayi Inc.

Having undertaken various roles in the organization of the machinery sector, Karavelioğlu has served as the President of the Turkish Pump and Valve Manufacturers Association (POMSAD), a member of the Board of Directors of the Machinery Manufacturers Association (MİB) and the Turkish Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (TARMAKBİR), as well as the President of the European Pump Manufacturers Federation (EUROPUMP).
