Mehmet Sefa Targıt

He received Industrial Engineering education from ITU Mechanical Faculty, which he started in 1978.

After graduating from ITU in 1983, he had initiatives in the construction and elevator industry.

Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASRAY A.Ş.

He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AYSAD and SEDEFED.

Sefa Targıt, who worked for TÜRKONFED for many years as a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice-President, besides his duty as the Vice President of the Turkish Machinery Federation; He continues to be a member of the International Association of Elevator Engineers (IAEE), the Board of Directors of the Machinery Exporters Union, the ASTEK Committee of the Ministry of Industry, the Machinery Committee of the Vocational Qualifications Authority MYK, the TOBB Machinery and Equipment Assembly and the TÜRKONFED YDK.

He was a member of the advisory board of TÜBİTAK Makiteg Board, ITU Mechanical Faculty and Özyeğin University Machinery Department.

He is a Member of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) and ASME.

Targıt, who speaks English, is a Class A Occupational Safety Specialist.
