Serkan KARATAŞ

Serkan KARATAŞ was born in 1975 in Istanbul. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy, Department of Metallurgical Engineering in 1996. He has been working at Çukurova Group since 1996 and has been the General Manager since 2018. He was among the founding members of the Materials Handling, Storage & Industrial Equipment Association of TURKİYE (İSDER) and served as İSDER Deputy Chairman/Treasurer between 2016-2021. After being the Chairman of the Board of Directors of İSDER in 2021-2023, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the second time for the 2023-2024 term. He is the Deputy Chairman/Treasurer of the TÜRKİYE Construction Equipment Distributors and Manufacturers Association (İMDER), the sister organization of İSDER. At the same time, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED). He has been a Congress Member at Beşiktaş Gymnastics Club (BJK) since 2003. He is married and has a daughter.
