Yeliz ÖZKARAOĞLU
After completing her degree in Chemical Engineering, Yeliz Özkaraoğlu earned a Master’s in Technological Entrepreneurship at Northeastern University in Boston. Since 2008, she has served as General Coordinator at Özkara Hidrolik Mak. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., overseeing procurement, foreign trade, finance, and administrative management. In 2021, she founded the e‑export platform Shop&Supply.com for construction machinery spare parts, followed by Shop&Decorate in 2022, an ETSY‑based initiative offering unique decorative products.
In civil society, Özkaraoğlu currently serves as Cluster President of İŞİM (Construction Machinery Cluster), where she develops international strategies and strengthens cooperation among members. She has also held positions such as Board Member of OSİAD (Ostim Industrialists and Businessmen Association), Chair of GGYD’s Manufacturing and Industry Group, and Executive Committee Member of TOBB Ankara Women Entrepreneurs Council. She continues to contribute actively to TOBB’s Foreign Trade Committee.
Through her membership in ANGİAD and her initiatives abroad, including founding the Boston Turkish People Group and speaking at MIT’s start‑up panel in Turkey, Özkaraoğlu has built strong international connections. In addition, she is a licensed angel investor, contributing to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. With multilingual communication skills, entrepreneurial vision, and expertise in risk‑free procurement systems, she stands out as a leading figure in Turkey’s construction machinery sector and civil society.
