Mehmet SARI
Mehmet SARI was born in 1972 in Gelinören Neighborhood of the Çal district in Denizli. He is married and the father of three children. His son, Hüseyin SARI, is married with one child and works as an authorized export manager at ZMK Foreign Trade Automation Industry and Trade Limited Company. His brother, İbrahim SARI, is married with three children and serves as an operations executive at ZİMEK Marble Machinery Industry and Trade Limited Company.
Mehmet SARI began his professional career in 1987 as an apprentice in the Çivril district of Denizli and moved to the city center in 1989. He acquired his vocational expertise by working in the field of textile machinery manufacturing. Together with his brother İbrahim SARI, he later established a company operating in the machinery manufacturing sector.
Mehmet SARI is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZİMEK Makina Mermer Industry and Trade Limited Company, ZMK Foreign Trade Automation Industry and Trade Limited Company, and ZİMET Gourmet Butcher. In addition to his industrial activities, he is also engaged in agriculture and livestock farming, operating his own small and large-scale animal farm.
Founded in 1995, ZİMEK Makina began operations in the marble processing machinery sector and has achieved a leading position in the industry through its advanced technology-based production approach and strong R&D and innovation-focused efforts. Starting its journey in a 25 m² workshop, the company has grown into a major industrial enterprise operating on a total production area of 33,000 m², including 22,000 m² open space and 11,000 m² covered area, and currently employs approximately 120 people.
Under his leadership, the companies operate with a modern production infrastructure, high engineering capability, and a quality-oriented approach, exporting to nearly 40 countries, primarily in the Middle East and Europe. These activities contribute significantly to Turkey’s economy through foreign currency inflow and employment.
In addition to his successful business career, Mehmet SARI plays an active role in civil society organizations. He serves as the President of the Machinery Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (MAKSİAD) headquartered in Denizli, is a Founding Member and Vice Chairman of the Denizli Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (DEMİOSB), and is a Board Member of the Denizli Chamber of Industry. He is also a member of the Ankara Machinery Federation (MAKFED), contributing to the development and institutionalization of the machinery industry.
