Yakub TÜFEKÇİ

Yakub Tüfekci was Born in 1982. He graduated from Yeditepe University in 2006 with a full scholarship in Physics and Mechanical Engineering. He then earned his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university. He completed a second master's degree in Management at Sabancı University. Yakub Tüfekci began his professional career in 2006 at Dalgakıran Compressor, where he worked for over 10 years in various positions including R&D Engineer, R&D Manager, Factory Manager, and Technology and Production Operations Director. During this time, he led IHI DALGAKIRAN, a Japanese-Turkish joint venture and Turkey's first and only turbo compressor company, from its conception to its establishment. He currently serves as the General Manager of IHI DALGAKIRAN.

Yakub Tüfekci was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOMSAD (Turkish Compressor, Vacuum and Compressed Gas Equipment Association), the umbrella organization representing all stakeholders in the Turkish compressed air sector, at its first elective general assembly held in December 2023, and he currently holds this position. Married with two children, Yakub Tüfekci speaks English and Japanese.
